The "Reach for the Stars" Contest has recieved its first entry! Thank you Jacklyn for entering this delightful piece.
Artist's description: Journal page created with acrylics, molding paste, cheese
cloth, and white paint pen. Stars are alcohol ink on acetate with white
paper underneath.

Artist's Statement: I tried a new technique called Ghost masking using Dylusions spray inks and some of my Crafter's Workshop templates. I then also use my new Stars Crafter template using white pain to make the stars. The blue colors does do it justice in the photo as I was working to the effect of Red, white and blue, where the yellow reflects the sun shinning thru the stars. I also played with my LuminArte color Golden nugget to create a splash of gold sparkle.
The text on Christine's page reads:
"Reach for the Stars, as I believe nothing is out of reach
if you set your heart and soul into it."
